"By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the
word of God, so that what is seen is made from things that are
not visible." (Hebrews 11:3)

I guess it makes sense that the writer gives as his first example of faith the understanding that the worlds were
brought into being by God speaking. After all; this is the beginning point of human existence and in some ways
fundamental to everything else. But it is also a great encouragement to those who may be thinking about either fully embracing faith, as a way of life and those who contemplate shrinking back from faith. What do I mean?

Well just this, if God can make something our of nothing, perhaps we can conclude that there is nothing that is outside his power to do. If he can bring everything into being by a word, then it is far to conclude that he can be trusted with your financial problems, your diagnose and whatever else you might be facing. He made the universe after all. God made something out of nothing. We accept that, "by faith" He made it with his word. This says about him; that his word is powerful, that he is mightier than we imagine and that there is no limit to
his power. So let us join in and accept what the Lord has done by faith; and trust him with our lives and believe that he is sufficient for every challenge.
